The role of the Youth Leader at Renewed Hope Church is to build a sense of community within the youth of the church that provides an opportunity for both spiritual and social development.

• Create a welcoming, fun, and enthusiastic environment for youth to connect with one another and growth in their faith. • Work with the youth, their parents, and volunteers to develop and publish a yearly plan with regular social, educational, spiritual, and/or mission oriented events meant to develop and maintain a vibrant program.

Nursery Worker:

Nursery Worker is an as-needed position to care for children ages birth - 4years old  during various ministry events.

1. Ensure a safe environment for the kids during the event

• Check with parents for any allergies at drop off if food is being served

• Keep level of play in the room appropriate for the space and age group

2. Engage with the kids

• Play games, color with, read to and create a welcoming and fun environment

• Show age appropriate movies from our pre-approved selection

• Change diapers, wipe faces, noses and hands as necessary

3. Serve food if applicable

• Set up an area for the children to sit and enjoy their meal

• Serve food and drink to each child with an awareness for allergies

• After the kids are done eating, clean up the area and dispose of trash

4. Clean and disinfect room at the end of the event

• Wipe down all tables with disinfectant spray

• Spray and disinfect any toys that have been put in mouths, sneezed on etc

• Make sure all toys and supplies are put back in the correct spot

Qualifications Requirements

• Age 16 or older

• Cleared background check

• Experience caring for children Extremely timely and reliable

Our Sunday Morning involve a variety of multimedia applications. If you have experience or interest in stage lighting, running video cameras, Powerpoint(presentation software) or a good deal of experience running live audio, we would love to hear from you. Our Tech Team is a great place to realize your role.Training will be provided. Team members serve once a month or can set up a regular schedule for their convenience.
